2013 Acura ZDX

Available now (and for the last time) at Chapman Acura:  the 2013 Acura ZDX luxury crossover.  After announcing the latest update to the ZDX line, Acura’s marketing team also foreshadowed its discontinuation at the end of this year.

Initially introduced to the U.S. market in 2009, the ZDX laid the groundwork for many of Acura’s other high-end models.  Equipped with Acura’s first six-speed transmission, ventilated seats, and superb styling to complement the rest of its top-flight features, the ZDX is truly a fine example of automotive craftsmanship designed exclusively in California.

For the 2013 Acura ZDX, Acura’s engineers have spared no attention to detail in order to ensure that the last entry in the ZDX line is also the best one.  According to its manufacturer’s press release, the 2013 ZDX will feature a redesigned front grille (similar to the instantly recognizable grille in other Acura models), front and rear parking sensors, and power-folding side mirrors.

Additionally, the ZDX will be equipped with Lane Departure Warning and Front Collision Warning systems which trigger visual and audible signals to the driver if the vehicle is drifting into another lane or if a frontal collision appears imminent.

Many features which were optional in previous years will come standard on the 2013 ZDX, including a 10-speaker Acura/ELS Surround sound system with a 15GB hard drive on which to store media.  Bluetooth, hands-free voice dialing, rear-view cameras, and an 8-inch VGA display to command all of the ZDX’s impressive technology are all present on the standard package, as well.

The ZDX’s 3.7L V-6 powerplant provides 300 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque which, when paired with Acura’s Sequential SportShift automatic transmission, creates an unforgettable driving experience.  With a respectable 22 highway miles per gallon fuel economy, the ZDX admirably covers all its bases.
